The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Union Hall is built in Chicago IL, just south of the McCormick Place Convention Center. The 25M project is a remodel of a closed down Chicago Public School. Classroom space was turned into office space and a one thousand seat Hall was added.. Parking was also added on site to accommodate the large union hall membership.
My roll on this project started in the middle of the DD phase. I worked on developing the design with a senior designer who also started at the same time. The project was significantly changed therefore I worked on a most building details, sections, elevations, renderings, etc.
